Red Nose Day cake feast raises money for Comic Relief

On Friday 13th March, the Gibbons staff did their bit for good causes by getting involved in the Red Nose Day Great Comic Relief Bake Off.

Employees baked (and bought) a selection of delicious cakes which were sold for donations to the long-running charity, with a grand total of £75 raised.

The prize for best baker went to six-year-old Beth Scott, daughter of Sales Manager Paul and a future Mary Berry in the making. Beth baked two dozen mouthwatering cupcakes topped with red and white icing and our judging panel were unanimous in awarding her the certificate which she took to school and showed off to her class.

A big thank you to everyone who took part for contributing to the amazing £78 million total raised by Comic Relief this year.
