LAMMA '18 review

After six months of meticulous preparation, we were excited to make our debut LAMMA show appearance at Peterborough’s East of England Showground in January.

LAMMA is the largest agricultural event of its kind in the UK, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from Britain and abroad. We were there to showcase our Gibbons Agricultural Fans range of steel and aluminium grain store fans and electrical services for farm buildings.

A busy first day saw the team of Matthew Gibbons, Josie Knight and Natasha Dyke chat to farmers about the challenges of last year’s harvest and how Gibbons could help with our range of crop-conditioning solutions in 2018 and beyond.

Enquiries came thick and fast, with visitors especially impressed by the energy efficiency of our 0.13-2.2kW centrifugal crop-drying fans, which have recently been upgraded to include a steel terminal box casing for added robsutness.

Sadly, the second of the two days was cancelled due to problems caused on site by overnight gales that peaked at 65 mph. The extent of the structural damage meant organisers were unable to make the site safe for visitors and exhibitors and so the event was cut short.

If you couldn’t make it to LAMMA and would like to find out more about our crop-cooling fans, accessories and services for farm buildings, call us on 01621 868 138 or email
