Project Description
The Problem:
A fire-damaged air handling unit that was serving a prestigious 14,000 sq. ft office building in London’s Canary Wharf needed to be removed and replaced.
A standard double doorway was the only way to access the damaged air handling unit, which was located in a plant room on the ninth floor.
Our Solution:
In order to remove the existing air handling unit, our HVAC team completely dismantled it. We then designed a new kit form air handling unit that could assembled from inside the plant room.
The turnkey project included a new air handling unit, coils, fans, variable speed drives and all associated electrical installation work. It was completed with no disruption to the customer.
