We’re pretty chuffed to announce that we’ve just won an ABB ACQ580 demo case!
ABB recently challenged its Authorised Value Providers to produce a 60 second video showing how to commission the specialist ACQ580 drive.
For our senior engineer, Ian, this was too easy, and we filmed him commissioning the multi-pump function in just 30 seconds.
The multi-pump function is one of many built-in features of the drive, which is designed to optimise the operation of pumps in water and wastewater environments. The drive also features sensor-less flow calculation, level control, dry run protection, soft pipe fill and a way to keep the impeller of the pump clean.
As you could see in the video, functions like this can be set up in less than 60 seconds.
Our video received over 400 views, and we were presented with the demo case at our offices in Essex. It will be really useful for our engineers to take with them when they visit other companies to provide training.
