Cereals

It was a soggy start for us at Cereals this year, and, as we sat stuck in the mud the day before the event, we were worried for a moment!

Luckily, it takes more than a little bit of rain and mud to put off visitors to the Cereals Event, and we enjoyed a fantastic couple of days meeting with farmers from across the UK. The first of the two days was particularly lively, so much so that the team had sore throats from talking so much!

Visitors to our stand enjoyed the opportunity to touch and pick up our range of specialist grain storage products, and, since we’re always bragging about the resilience of our Plug&Cool Pedestals, we stood back and watched as visitors enjoyed giving them a good kick!

Along with being able to see the quality of our products first-hand, visitors were also interested to hear from the team about the smart technology and intelligent design utilised in our Plug&Cool Range.

Our team explained how our Plug&Cool Barn System features Robydome technology to allow them to control store conditions via a web-based control panel.

This allows users to access real-time information from any device, produce accurate reports and graphs, make changes, set automatic controls and receive emails for immediate alerts of any problems.

This means the system can save farmers huge amounts of money on energy bills, as well as reducing the risk of grain losses.

We were also very excited to unveil our newest product at the event – the Airspear® Max. Our new Airspear® harnesses the maximum power of a 1.1 kW fan in a style that is popular all across Europe. This allows for the rapid cooling of urgent hotspots.

With strong, adjustable, non-slip handles, a sharp point, and no bulky adaptor, the new Airspear® Max is completely portable and easy to use.

If you didn’t make it to Cereals this year, don’t worry, there is still time to place an order before this year’s harvest. You can get in touch with the team on 01621 868 138 or at fans@gibbonsgroup.co.uk.
